During the AEW Dynamite broadcast last Wednesday, Roderick Strong surprised everyone with his AEW debut by helping Adam Cole. Nobody knew anything about it and this took many people by surprise, even in WWE.
According to the Wrestling Observer, Roderick Strong’s appearance on AEW during the broadcast of Dynamite took many people in WWE by surprise, as Strong was believed to be still under contract with the company and they were unaware that he had requested his release.
While we know of people in WWE who knew Strong would not be returning, many in the company believed he was still under contract and were shocked to see him on television.
Next week Roderick Strong will have his first match in AEW, in which he will join Adam Cole, Orange Cassidy and Bandido to face Jericho Appreciation Society. It will be interesting to see how he develops in this new stage.
