It was unexpected that Roman Reigns was left out of the WWE Day 1 poster because he tested positive for covid-19 . The emergency plan was to place his challenger, Brock Lesnar , in the duel in which Big E would expose the WWE Championship against Seth Rollins , Kevin Owens and Bobby Lashley . And he won it. He was going for the Universal title and he took the World Cup.
Lesnar’s stage as WWE Champion was not seen coming. Will he stay on Raw or will he continue to exercise his free agent privilege? Will he give Big E a rematch, accept Bobby Lashley’s challenge, or try to come back for Reigns to have both belts? Time will tell.
We will also have to be attentive to what happens with Becky Lynch , as she successfully defended the Raw Women’s Championship against Liv Morgan . New challengers will surely come out.
The cast of Monday Night Raw will perform this Monday at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville , South Carolina, a 17,000-seat arena and home of the ECHL’s Greenville Swamp Rabbits.
