Henry Cejudo , one of the “champ-champs” in UFC history , is back for yet another reign in the bantamweight division: he challenges champion Aljamain Sterling to a title fight in the main event of UFC 288 , which will take place at the Prudential Center stadium in New Jersey.
Sterling, with a 22-3 record and an eight-game winning streak, won the championship in 2021 from Petr Yan, who won it vacantly in 2020 after Cejudo retired (at 33 years old and after beating Dominick Cruz). Now, Mexican-American Cejudo (16-2), also an Olympic and Pan-American wrestling champion, wants to reclaim what he never lost in the Octagon.
