Watch Tszyu v Gausha 3/26/22 Preview
Tim Tszyu has called world champion Jermell Charlo “a kitten” and said the Australian champion said he is ready to fight anyone, but not just anywhere.
Tsyzu (20-0) is determined his next fight will be on American soil, but has been told by Foxsports.com that his fight against Terrell Gausha (25-2-1) in Los Angeles on March 19 will not take place according to the scheduled.
The 27-year-old is the mandatory challenger to Argentina’s Brian Castano for the WBO title and Tszyu would face the winner of the Castano-Charlo light middleweight unification fight, had he beat Gausha.

But the fight between Charlo (18-1-1) and Castaño (19-0-2) fades after the latter suffered a bicep injury.
Tsyzu said he is willing to replace Castano and face Charlo, but that seems unlikely to happen as the Australian hopes to fight Gausha.
“March 19 is done. (Best case scenario) I will fight the same opponent next weekend, on a different show,” Tszyu said. Foxsports.com at the launch of No Limit Boxing 2022 in Sydney on Tuesday night.
“I told the guys to make it happen and I’m just waiting for a date.
“I am ready to go to the United States, that is where I have always dreamed of, so I want to have a quality opponent in the United States.”
American Charlo has previously criticized Tszyu for not being worthy to face him and the undefeated Australian responded on Tuesday night.
“He calls himself a lion, but he’s a kitten, that’s all he is,” Tszyu said.
“There could be political things involved (preventing a fight against Charlo), but my main concern is fighting and not sitting around.
“Whoever, whenever, but not wherever, in the United States.”
