New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) continue with their joint tour in Japan, “FANTASTICAMANIA 2023” . The second show was held this Thursday, February 23, from the KBS Hall in Kyoto, in front of 765 viewers. The show could be seen live through NJPW’s subscription platform, New Japan World.

1. Just 4 Guys (Yoshinobu Kanemaru and DOUKI) defeated Rey Cometa and Yuto Nakashima . Entertaining match that ended when Kanemaru surprised Cometa with a Roll-Up to secure the count of three. (04:47).
2. BULLET CLUB (Taiji Ishimori and Gedo) defeated Captain Suicide and Ryohei Oiwa . The BULLET CLUB used their traps to gain ground against their opponents. In the last few minutes, Oiwa was left fighting Ishimori, but ended up being trapped by his rival’s Yes Lock, forcing him to surrender. (06:11)
3. Bárbaro Cavernario, OKUMURA and Hijo del Villano III (accompanied by Mima Shimoda) defeated Tiger Mask IV, Dulce Gardenia and Master Wato . The rude side focused their offense on Tiger Mask, trying to snatch his mask from him. In the final stretch, Tiger Mask connected a Tiger Driver to Hijo del Villano III, but OKUMURA arrived to stop the count. With the referee distracted, Hijo del Villano III snatched the mask from Tiger Mask, catching him in a Small Package Hold for the count of three. (07:53)
4. Los Ingobernables de Japón (Tetsuya Naito, Hiromu Takahashi, BUSHI and Titán) defeated Soberano Jr., Ryusuke Taguchi, YOH and Kosei Fujita . Fight to continue the rivalry between Soberano Jr. and Titán, including a dose of comedy with Taguchi. In the climax of the fight, Titán managed to overcome Fujita, finishing him off with a Springboard Foot Stomp to secure the count of three. (14:24)
After the match, Titán provoked Soberano Jr. by showing him the CMLL World Welterweight Championship.
5. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Último Guerrero and El Desperado defeated Sorcerer, Magia Blanca and SHO . An even team match that ended when Último Guerrero connected a Guerrero Special to Sorcerer, leaving the way free for Tanahashi to apply the High Fly Flow, sealing the count of three. (13:11)
6. Atlantis Jr. and Templario defeated Místico and Volador Jr. An even match between both teams. In the closing sequences, Volador avoided a Templario Powerbomb from the corner, transforming it into an Avalanche Frankensteiner. Despite this, Templario reacted and surprised his opponent by executing El Templo, securing the count of three on Volador. (11:16)
After the match, Místico and Atlantis Jr. had a confrontation lifting each other’s titles. For his part, Templario grabbed a microphone and thanked the Kyoto audience, noting that it is an honor to fight talents like Místico and Volador Jr. He also thanked his partner and closed the show by noting that the tour continues in the coming days
