Watch AEW Dynamite 5/11/22 Preview

This Wednesday, All Elite Wrestling will celebrate a new episode of AEW Dynamite. In today’s show, names of the stature of CM Punk, Adam Cole, Jeff Hardy or Toni Storm will be present and we will see them in the ring. Next, we leave you with the preview of AEW Dynamite May 11, 2022.

Ricky Starks (c) vs. Jungle Boy for the FTW Championship

Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs were focused on getting a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championship, and Starks showed it in a backstage promo last week. What he didn’t expect is that Jungle Boy, one of the tag team titleholders, stepped in and challenged him to a match for the FTW Championship. Ricky accepted and tonight the faces will be seen for the title. If Starks is victorious, it is highly likely that he and Hobbs will end up facing Jurassic Express for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

CM Punk vs. John Silver

Before CM Punk faces ‘Hangman’ Adam Page for the AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing, he will first have to face off in the ring with fellow Dark Order member and friend of Page, John Silver. After a promo from the champion last week in which he showed a somewhat different attitude with the crowd, we’ll see if he interferes in this match in any way.

Men’s Owen Hart Cup (quarterfinals): Jeff Hardy vs. Darby Allin

Comes what is probably the most special match for Darby Allin in recent months. Fans have been constantly comparing Darby and Jeff Hardy ever since the former first rose to prominence in All Elite Wrestling. Once Hardy arrived at AEW two months ago, this ‘dream match’ was on the table and tonight it will end up happening. Allin cut a promo at the last AEW Dynamite show in which he was clearly excited for the opportunity to fight Jeff. The winner of the contest will advance to the semifinals of the Owen Hart Cup.

Danhausen debuts on AEW Dynamite

Since his first appearance on AEW Dynamite, Danhausen has been a fan favorite. In recent weeks, he has been sharing segments with Hook, another of the fighters most loved by fans, in which Danhausen tried in every possible way to get his attention by trying to “curse” him. Hook ignored him for a while, until now they have a strange friendship where Hook tries not to get too close with him.

During those segments, Tony Nese and Mark Sterling took it upon themselves to interrupt and annoy, though they never got away with it. Finally, in a backstage promo, he challenged Danhausen to a singles match this week.

Men’s Owen Hart Cup (quarterfinals): Adam Cole vs. Dax Harwood

Second match of the men’s Owen Hart Cup that we will have on AEW Dynamite tonight. Adam Cole will try to stop a Dax Harwood who comes to this fight very motivated due to the great meaning this tournament has for him. Despite the fact that the member of the Undisputed Elite starts as the favorite, it should not be ruled out that Harwood achieves victory.

Contract signing between MJF and Wardlow

Wardlow is still looking in every way possible for MJF to release him from his contract so he can be completely free to do whatever he wants in AEW. Despite the fact that Max has not stopped putting obstacles, both will soon end up facing each other in a heads up. Before that, tonight they will sign the contract to make the fight official, although MJF said that it will be under conditions that he will present to Wardlow today.

Women’s Owen Hart Cup (Quarterfinals): Toni Storm vs. Jamie Hayter

The Women’s Owen Hart Cup kicks off today on AEW Dynamite with a highly anticipated match between Jamie Hayter and Toni Storm. On paper, Toni starts as the favorite to advance to the next round. If it happens, she will probably face Britt Baker, who has been her great enemy since Storm arrived at All Elite Wrestling a little over a month ago.

Jericho Appreciation Society Speech

Last week, Chris Jericho defeated Santana, his former Inner Circle partner. Tonight, the Jericho Appreciation Society will give a speech after this important victory. Considering what we saw at AEW Rampage two days later, it is likely that we will see an intervention from Eddie Kingston, who has been absent for two weeks due to a brutal attack by Jericho and company in the parking lot.
