ONE Championship ‘s second event of the week will serve as its fifth event on Amazon Prime Video . ONE on Prime Video 5 features five MMA bouts, including a main event with gold on the line.
The ONE Championship returns on Friday at 8:00 p.m. ET with ONE on Prime Video 5, taking place at the Mall Of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines and streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
In the main event, undefeated double champion Reinier de Ridder (16-0) puts his middleweight title on the line against fellow undefeated Anatoly Malykhin (11-0) . The main event includes a lightweight title submission match between champion Kade Ruotolo and Matheus Gabriel.
In the main bout, interim heavyweight champion Anatoly Malykhin will be downgraded to challenge bi-division champion Reinier de Ridder for the light heavyweight belt.
De Ridder is the titular middleweight and light heavyweight champion with a perfect 16-0 record . His ability to grip has been what has made the most difference. He is a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and judo. The bout will be his first attempt at a light heavyweight title defense, after winning the middleweight title twice.
With a title unification bout against ONE heavyweight champion Arjan Bhullar yet to be booked, Malykhin will put that division on hold in pursuit of a second title . In February he defeated Kirill Grishenko by second-round knockout to win the interim heavyweight belt.
